About Eric Boyden, MD
Dr. Boyden graduated from Williams College in 1984 and received his medical degree from the University of Nevada, School of Medicine. Dr. Boyden completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and has been practicing at the Reno Orthopedic Center since 1993. As a faculty member at the University of Nevada, Reno, Dr. Boyden has taught many aspiring medical students.
He focuses on adult reconstruction and joint replacement. Since 1993 he has performed over 7,000 joint replacement and revision cases. Dr. Boyden is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, receiving his recertification in 2016.
In October 2008, Dr. Boyden was appointed as the medical director of arthroplasty (joint replacement) services for Saint Mary’s orthopedic department.
