David Ward, PA-C

Physician Assistant for Dr. Kaiser

David grew up in the Reno area and attended Reno High School. After serving in the United States Navy, he completed his premedical degrees at UNR whereupon he enrolled at Touro University, Nevada and received two master’s degrees in Medical Health Science as well as Physician Assistant Studies.  His previous experience includes urgent care and internal medicine. 

David first became interested in medicine after sustaining multiple fractures in a rock climbing accident during his youth. He then made a full recovery due to excellent orthopedic care and went on to compete at a national level in climbing. In his free time, he continues to climb, ski, and spend time outdoors with his golden retriever. He is primary focused on musculoskeletal injuries and has a passion for getting patients back to activities which bring them happiness. 

Very detailed x-rays were taken of my hand and shoulder with full review by David Ward, PA-C, and 2 injections given, one to hand and one to my shoulder. Injections were explained and were given with very little discomfort. David really seemed to know how and where to inject. In addition, more blood work and MRI set so i really feel that David Ward PA, was really trying to figure out what is happening with my hand and shoulder. Thank you so much for your professionalism and attention to detail.
