If you are interested in a rotation, please complete the application below.
Beginning in April 2019, ROC will begin the remodel of its downtown clinic. During this time, our #1 priority is our patients. Therefore, as of May 1 2019, high school and undergraduate applicants will be limited to 1 4-hour rotation per year. Professional degree students (Med Students, PA Students, Nursing Students, Physical Therapy Students, Occupational Therapy Students, and Radiographic Technologist Students) must apply through their University or College coordinator. Rotations at ROC’s main location downtown will be discontinued until after the construction has been completed. All high school and undergraduate rotations will take place at the Spark, Galena, or Carson City location. Applications will be processed as quickly as possible and in the order they are received. Due to high volume of requests and a decrease in available sites, wait times may be 3+ months. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
"The clinic and the surgery room were completely different enviornments and I'm glad I was able to experience both settings. It was really cool to get to watch everyone working together to make everything run so smoothly. I had no idea there were so many moving parts."
"I loved the variety of patients I was able to see the doctor work with! Each person is so different and I learned so much about healthcare from this experience."
"Having the opportunity to shadow an orthopedic surgeon provided me with a lot of insight into the medical profession. It is such a rewarding experience to be able to see what physicians do on a daily basis. Not only was my experience rewarding, but I was able to gain more knowledge about the process of going to medical school and becoming a doctor."
"Everyone was so nice and patient with me. The Physician's Assistant explained the X-rays to me, talk to me about why they ask what they ask, and answered all my questions. Great experience."
