Physician Assistant for ROC Express

Karie King was born in South Dakota, and raised in Reno, NV obtained her Master of Physician Assistant through Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon in 2014. She furthered her education by completing a Dermatology Fellowship with the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants followed by her Doctor of Medical Science degree through Lynchburg University in Virginia. She has previously worked in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Dermatology, as well as Disaster Medicine with the Dept. of Health and Human Services currently serving on a DMAT team with AL3.

Karie is thankful to return home to Reno after many years of traveling with her military husband and three kids. They are now settled and enjoying anything outdoors with friends and family.
