Changing Our Name, Creating The Future
Oh, you can still call us ROC, but please know that the third word in our name has, well, changed. And for a historic and very healthy reason.
When we first opened our doors back in 1959, we were a small, hard-working group of orthopedic physicians treating patients out of a single office in downtown Reno. Basically, the embodiment of a “clinic.” And thus the name, Reno Orthopedic Clinic.
Over the past 62 years, though, we’ve grown to meet the needs of both our community and our region. We’re now a team of over 30 highly trained specialists and hundreds of support staff, who’ve just completed the construction of a new musculoskeletal campus providing every possible orthopedic service under one innovative roof. From walk-in orthopedic care to imagining, physician visits to casting and physical therapy, a five-suite surgery center, fellowship programs, and visionary research and educational spaces.
In short, we’re way more than just a clinic. We’re a hub of orthopedic excellence, a beacon to the best and brightest, a place where patient care is elevated to an art. And reflective of all this is our new name, Reno Orthopedic Center. Here, we’re creating the future of musculoskeletal health in Northern Nevada, and beyond.
