About Spenser Cassinelli, MD

Dr. Cassinelli attended the University of Nevada, Reno for both his undergraduate studies and medical school. He completed his residency at the Harbor – UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA, and his Foot & Ankle Orthopedic Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, CA. He specializes in foot and ankle reconstruction, total ankle replacement, trauma, deformity correction, bunion surgery, Achilles tendon ruptures, arthritis, and sports-related injuries. He joined the Reno Orthopedic Center in 2019 and enjoys outdoor activities such as running, golfing, and snowboarding.

Dr Cassinelli is a very competent, personable doctor and surgeon. He listened to my long history about my health issue, offered different options with full disclosure on each, making it easier to come to a good decision. The whole process with his office/ROC has been seamless. I am 2 weeks post surgery and saw Dr. Cassinelli this week. Progress is great, better than anticipated (also better than the 2 previous attempts at another facility.) Thank you Dr. Cassinelli

After having right ankle/foot surgery over two years ago and still being in pain I decided to go to another foot doctor, so I was referred to Dr Cassinelli. He spent time with me going over the options etc. We then decided to do a repair surgery. Everyone on the surgery team was wonderful. Talked me through everything. Dr Cassinelli met with me before the surgery and went over what he was going to do. My follow up was great too. He spends time making sure that I understand next steps etc. I was very happy with him and wish I would have gone to him first.
